With Lebara Mobile voicemail is activated automatically when you cannot be reached, unless you are abroad.
Voicemail is your mobile phone's answering machine, voicemail allows the person calling you to leave a message when you are engaged or if your phone is not switched on. Voicemail is activated automatically. If a message has been left in your voicemail you will receive notification of this on your handset.
You can personalise your voicemail by, for instance, changing the welcome message or settings.
To change your settings dial 1 2 3 3 and follow the menu instructions (presently only in Dutch).
Call Lebara Mobile Customer Services (0900 - 4321 321) to turn your voicemail on or off using the spoken menu.
Dial 1 2 3 3 and follow the instructions (presently only in Dutch).
Listening to your voicemail from a different phone. Dial 06 - 1900 1233. You will need your voicemail code for this.
See below for listening to your voicemail abroad.
Receiving voicemail messages is free of charge in the Netherlands. To listen to your voicemail you will have to pay normal call charges.
For voicemail abroad a distinction has to be made between the so-called CAMEL countries and non-CAMEL countries. Below you can find a summary of CAMEL countries.
Voicemail is NOT available in NON-CAMEL countries.
In CAMEL countries call transfer is switched of and you only receive voicemail if the phone is fully switched off (not when you are engaged, do not answer, or cancel incoming calls). You can listen to your voicemail in these countries the same way is in the Netherlands. You therefore dial 1 2 3 3.
