  • How do I make an international call with Lebara Mobile?

When it comes to making international calls, Lebara Mobile works in the same way as other mobiles or fixed line phones. Simply dial 00 followed by the country code, then the area code without the leading ‘0’ and then the phone number and press the dialler/send button. Instead of 00 you can also use the "+" symbol.

Please note that most premium voice and text services in other countries cannot be reached from a mobile phone service when calling from outside that country.

  • How do I send a text message from The Netherlands to another country with Lebara Mobile?

  • My handset seems to be locked

If your mobile phone screen shows any of the following when you first put your Lebara Mobile SIM in your phone: 'phone restricted', 'blocked', 'barred', 'incorrect SIM' or 'SP lock', your mobile may be locked to another network.

  • Why can't I phone 09xx service numbers?

Most of the 090x numbers can be called from your mobile phone. It is possible that a 090x number cannot be reached. You can then pass on the number that you cannot reach to Lebara Mobile. Lebara Mobile will look at the request and may free the 090x number. If there are insufficient requests to free this specific number your request will, unfortunately, not be honored. The number will be kept on a reserve list.
Another reason is that the network is not automatically selected abroad and the blocks on some networks have not been removed. You can circumvent this by manually selecting another network.

  • I have not used my Lebara Mobile for a while and it has now stopped working. Why is this?

If you do not top up your call credit within 6 months, your call credit will be frozen. You can still receive calls, however you will only be able to call 1244 to top up your call credit. If you top up your call credit in the following 3 months, your old balance will be re-credited and the new call credit will be added to that. If you do not top up your call credit, your number and call credit will lapse and you will no longer be able to use your Lebara Mobile SIM card.

  • My SIM card is lost/ stolen. How do I prevent someone else from using it?

Please call Lebara Customer Services on 1200 from your Lebara Mobile or 0900 4321 321 from any other phone as quickly as possible and one of our advisors will help you.
